A Firm Cloud Foundation

Obsidian Solutions

Obsidian Solutions makes revenue cycle management software for the healthcare industry. They asked Wellshade to help move their products to the cloud. We provided the infrastructure and the support team Obsidian needed to be successful in the cloud.

The Problem

Scott Moore, Obsidian Solution's CEO, needed to provide cloud-based access to his company's revenue cycle management software. "As a healthcare information data provider, we are required to comply with numerous federal and state requirements for data storage security and compliance" said Moore. So Obsidian didn't just need a generic, off-the-shelf cloud infrastructure; they needed something very secure.

The Solution

Wellshade has been providing secure cloud solutions to clients for many years. We have deep security knowledge and up-to-date expertise with Federal compliance. We worked closely with Obsidian to build a cloud infrastructure that provided the security and speed they required and our support team continues to handle any issues that arise. "I have rarely worked with an organization that had such knowledgeable staff. It seems like everyone knows the details that are needed to provide answers and ensure that we are able to provide reliable service to our clients," said Moore. Moore also states, "I have been able to get to know the staff at Wellshade personally and everyone is accessible, ready and willing to help in any situation. We've thrown all kinds of questions at them (many of them outside of the services that they actually provide us) and we have always gotten a prompt and helpful response. I've never been pushed off to someone else or to another department for resolution."

I have rarely worked with an organization that had such knowledgeable staff. I have been able to get to know the staff at Wellshade personally and everyone is accessible, ready and willing to help in any situation.
