The Network Documentation section is generally the largest and most informative chapter in the Technology Profile. The General Notes subsection contains general information regarding the Local Area Network, the Wide Area Network, critical network devices, overall network speed, Internet connectivity, basic IP structure, third-party circuits, physical network device layout, premise wiring; as-well-as, detailed network security information.

Fundamental network services such as DNS, WINS and DHCP and the client’s existing IP address allocation scheme are given their own subsection in the chapter.
